As you know, on August 7 Tashkent has started the World Taekwondo Cadet World Cup. The national team of Uzbekistan is represented by 20 athletes. In the first day, 5 Uzbek taekwondo fighters competed. Four of our compatriots lost in the quarterfinals, while Mubina Mamurjonova lost in the quarterfinals.
Uzbekistan will be represented by 5 taekwondo fighters on the second day of the World Cup.
Muhammadin Aliev (https://t.me/uzbtaekwondowt/510) will defend the honor of Uzbekistan in the weight category -3️⃣3️⃣ kg. According to the draw, our athlete will face the British Owen Blant in the 1/16 final. The winner of the fight will fight in the quarterfinals against Julio Miguel Sapata (Philippines) – the winner of the pair of Shohruz Norov (Tajikistan).
Abror Ulmasov (https://t.me/uzbtaekwondowt/511) will represent the country in the weight category -3️⃣7️⃣ kg. Our compatriot will start the World Cup in 1/32 final against Yaroslav Romanov from Kyrgyzstan. The winner will face Tamirlan Tleules of Kazakhstan in the 1/16 final.
Samandar Khamdamov (https://t.me/uzbtaekwondowt/512) in the weight category -5️⃣3 kg will start the tournament in the quarterfinals against Denis Dimitrov of Bulgaria.
-Light Zayniddinova (https://t.me/uzbtaekwondowt/513) in the weight category -4️⃣1️⃣ kg will face Gulnoza Maksumova from Tajikistan in the 1/16 final. The winner of the match will face Egyptian Jana Elmanzalvi in the quarterfinals.
Sitora Muhammad Ghulam Rasul (https://t.me/uzbtaekwondowt/513) will represent Alina Ivanova from Bulgaria in the 1/16 final. The winner will fight Maria Sevostyanova from Kazakhstan and Yun Hee Che from Korea in the quarterfinals.
