NOC President Visits Uzbekistan Taekwondo WT Association Headquarters and Universal Sports Complex

As it was informed earlier, the President of the National Olympic Committee, First Vice President of the Football Association of Uzbekistan Umid Ahmadjonov visited the Republican College of Olympic Reserve in Tashkent, where he familiarized himself with the situation and provided the college administration with necessary recommendations.

The next destination is the Taekwondo WT Association of Uzbekistan. As is known, the Association held an extraordinary reporting-election conference five days ago, in which Laziz Khasanov was elected president of the organization. During his visit to the Association headquarters, Umid Akhmadjanov inquired about the way the new leadership has organized the work.

The Universal Sports Complex, one of the most beautiful and compact sports facilities in the capital, is also a part of this association. Recently, the facility has hosted not only local but also international competitions in several sports. Visiting the gym and gym, the head of the NOC provided guidance to the Association’s leaders on how to improve the conditions for the fans and the creation of the family sector.

“So far we have set up family sectors at our country stadiums. Fans come with their families and children to watch football matches directly from the stadium. This, in turn, is important for popularizing sports and promoting healthy lifestyles. < P>

It would be useful if we can now create such sectors in slowly closed indoor sports facilities. Of course, we need to promote a culture of fans among fans, ”said Umid Akhmadjanov.

The head of the NOC also emphasized that in order to organize the activities of the sports complex, it should not be idle for a day, the competitions and trainings will be held here all year.
