For the first time in history, the Uzbek taekwondo champion became the best taekwondist of the World Cup!

The World Taekwondo Cadet World Championships ended in Tashkent today. At the end of the tournament, each of the top five teams in the team standings was awarded a special cup. That is, the five strongest men and the five strongest women’s teams were awarded the trophy.

In addition, individual prizes were awarded in 8 directions. Zafarbek Karimov from Uzbekistan was recognized as the best male taekwondist of the competition. Thus, for the first time in history, an athlete from Uzbekistan was recognized as the best taekwondist of the World Cadet Championship. Our compatriot won a gold medal in the weight category -41 kg.
